Has the iPad Become a Sideshow Act?

With the launch of new 9.7 inch iPad, Apple just complete the company’s tablet lineup. The announcement was made by means of a press release.

The device made its first debut in 2010 and believed that it was to be the next big thing. With the great kick start the new device accounted 20% of Apple’s revenue by its second year.

If we talk about recent scenario, iPad holds more than 7% of Apple’s revenue in spite of long holiday quarter when iPad sales should be strong. Once the second most important driver of Apple’s success, the tablet division is now playing fourth fiddle to the iPhone, Mac and Services divisions.
