After helming The Lego Movie for Warner Bros., Phil Lord and Chris Miller all set to produce The LEGO Batman movie.
According to director Chris McKay confirmed on Twitter today that none other than Billy Dee Williams would be voicing the classic villain Two-Face. Aaron Eckhart took on the role for The Dark Knight, while Tommy Lee Jones played a manic version of the character in 1995’s Batman Forever.
When director Tim Burton was replaced by Joel Schumacher after two Bat films, Jones was given the chance to flip the two-headed coin instead of Williams. Over 20 years later, that wrong is about to be righted.
The actor portrayed Harvey Dent in Burton’s film, which starred Michael Keaton as The Dark Knight. According to McKay over Twitter, Williams will play the character’s villainous counterpart, Two-Face, in a voice role for LEGO Batman. No other details were revealed, but we’re guessing it’ll probably be a small part.
